Brooke & Troy Are Getting Married

Welcome Family and Friends!

You've just logged in to our Wedding Website.

Thanks for visiting and we hope you find all the information you need here about our Wedding.  The site has been set up to help you find your way to the Ceremony and Reception, to provide some accommodation options for out-of-towners and those wanting to stay away from home and make a night of it, (we will be!), and to give you a bit of an opportunity to get to know Troy and Brooke as many of us haven't had the opportunity to meet yet.

We are moving into 2010 at a great speed of knots and leaving the traditional envelope jam packed with important wedding day information behind us.   By providing all the important details you need online, we are saving the planet and can keep you up to date easily.

While you're here, you’ll be able to RSVP your attendance, so there’s no need for a trip to the mail box!

About Us

We thought given many of us have yet to meet, maybe we could give you a bit of a run down on who we are ahead of the ceremony.  Below is a bit about each of us, how we came together and our lives.

Troy

Troy is one of 6 siblings, 3 brothers, a sister and a sister in law.  Originally from the beach town of Warrnambool, Troy moved to Melbourne after becoming a Personal Trainer in 2005.  His biggest interest is training and he spends hours of time daily reading and researching information on all subjects relating to training, health and nutrition.   Troy’s other interests are football and basketball, and eating.  He has the reputation amongst most people he knows as always having food in his mouth.  He enjoys getting back to Warrnambool when he gets the chance to catch up with friends and family.

His Fav things:  Training, Eating, Football, Basketball, playing guitar and singing along to it (much to the distress of Brooke and their dog, Molly), and Brooke more than everything else.

Our Life Together

Brooke and Troy met when Brooke started working at Full Circle Fitness in April 2008.  What started out as a great friendship quickly turned to romance, and though it took the two of them by surprise, it came as no shock to any of their clients who had been making secret wagers behind their backs about how long until they got together.

Brooke moved in with Troy in August 2008 and the couple were engaged at the end of November.  Lots of people were taken by surprise at how fast it all happened but knowing they had each taken 30 years to find each other, they were firm believers in the theory that when you know, you just know!.

They live in a house in St Kilda East that is entirely too small for them and their pets, Molly the dog and Suki the cat and all their stuff.   Not that they needed any convincing, but one of the things that convinced them they were meant to be together was when Brooke brought her cat Suki to live with Troy’s dog Molly.  Molly quickly decided Suki was her best friend and is always extremely protective and concerned about her.  Suki thinks Molly’s mostly okay too, but she is a cat after all and therefore, she doesn’t really need anyone in her life!

Along with acquiring brothers and sisters, Brooke was thrilled to become Molly’s mum having wanted a dog for years.  Molly was equally pleased with this arrangement, she got a new best friend, and she loves her mum even if it means she's not allowed to sleep on the bed, but most importantly, the whole package came with her most loved item.  The car!

Brooke

Brooke is an only child and as a result of that, is most excited and pleased to be joining a family with lots of siblings and getting a bunch of brothers and sisters she never had.  Before becoming a Personal Trainer, she was an Executive Assistant in the financial services industry.  She started studying part time and left financial services when she realised one day she would rather be standing next to a treadmill than a photocopier.

Brooke is a self confessed hobby-aholic with too many things she loves to do and not enough time to do them all.  One week she will be outside in the yard gardening and then next she will have spent the whole week indoors writing while all the new plants wither and die from lack of attention.

Her fav things: Her family and friends, Movies, Writing, Coffee, Training, Reading and above all…Troy.

Brooke and Troy’s favourite times together include walking Molly in the nearby parks and at St Kilda Beach, hanging out together in Borders reading, catching up with their friends and families, when Troy goes to the movies with Brooke when he doesn’t want to, to see things he doesn’t want to see because Brooke LOVES the movies, and watching re-runs of Friends while they eat their dinner together when they get home from work each night.
